Village of Hillside
Welcome to the Village of Hillside website. Established in 1905 as the "Hub of the Western Suburbs", Hillside is located near numerous transportation and business opportunities. As a developing community of over 8,100 residents, Hillside has become the “Metro Gateway”. The Village prides itself on community aesthetics and values and works to attract and maintain businesses in the community (Economic Development).
The Village of Hillside is a home rule unit of government that is proud of the relationships it maintains with the business community. The Village offers residents many opportunities throughout the community. Whether it's for education, recreation, commerce, or location Hillside provides it all.
